The OPENROAD 270 Trail Series is a freestanding 270-degree vehicle awning that mounts to a roof rack or crossbars and covers 95 ft2 of ground. Gas struts open it in about three seconds, and four pull-down legs adjust from 47.5 in to 90 in, so the awning carries its own weight instead of relying on the vehicle. It is sold in a driver-side and a passenger-side version.
