Refund policy

30-day returns

You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price.

How to start a return

Email contact@rimrockoverland.com with your order number and the item you want to return. We will reply with a return authorization and the address to ship to. Items sent back without a return authorization cannot be processed.

Condition of returned items

Items must be unused, complete with all hardware and accessories, and in the original manufacturer packaging. Items that have been mounted to a vehicle, drilled, cut or modified cannot be returned.

Return shipping

Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong item was sent. In those cases we cover the return shipping and send a replacement or a full refund.

Oversized freight items such as awnings and truck bed tents cost significantly more to return than standard parcels. Contact us before returning one and we will quote the actual return shipping cost so you can decide before committing.

Restocking fees

Some manufacturers charge a restocking fee on returned items. If a restocking fee applies to your return, we will tell you the exact amount before you ship the item back.

Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional days to post it.

Damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We cover return shipping and send a replacement or a full refund.

Cancellations

You can cancel an order at no cost as long as it has not yet been passed to the manufacturer for fulfillment. Email us as soon as possible with your order number.

Warranty claims

Manufacturer warranties are handled by the brand. The warranty term for each product is listed on its product page. Contact us and we will put you in touch with the manufacturer's warranty department and follow the claim with you.
